Who is Bell Farming Company?
Bell Farming Company traces its roots back to around 1898, when 18-year-old W.F. Bell purchased his first piece of property southwest of Des Arc, Arkansas, in the Oak Prairie community. The first courthouse record of that land appears in 1903, when he later sold it.
From that beginning, Bell Farming Company carried on through four more generations. My brother, Ryan Bell, and I were the fifth generation to farm some of that original ground. On January 1, 2025, we made the hardest decision of our lives and stepped away from farming.
In my heart, I will always be a farmer. It is as much a part of who I am as being Davis Bell’s son and Rebecca Bell’s husband. But life moves forward, whether we want it to or not.
Since then, my brother Ryan has launched his own agricultural drone spraying business, Bell Custom Application, and is doing very well. As for me, I decided to continue carrying the Bell Farming Company name forward.
Today, Bell Farming Company specializes in agricultural herbicide and pesticide sales, along with hotshot hauling and logistics services. My primary equipment includes a Ford F-450 and a 35-foot Diamond C gooseneck trailer.
I am grateful for the customers who trust me with their herbicide and pesticide needs, and for those who trust me to haul their equipment, freight, and cargo safely and reliably.
